What was the light bulb moment when creating the FBA and your SUCCEED! Virtual Conference?
When it came to the FBA, that was a complete re-brand. The FBA used to be AFS (Association of Fitness Studios) but we quickly learned our audience was much larger than fitness studios. We had everything entrepreneurial fitness professionals, gyms, studios, independent contractors and others need to stay up to date on the latest trends, ideas, secrets, and strategies being implemented today in the fitness world. Our education struck a nerve and we’ve been full speed ahead ever since.
Once COVID hit, we knew quickly that we had to transition the SUCCEED! conference from in-person to online in a matter of weeks! It also had to provide the most relevant/timely fitness education topics for the entire industry in a time of need. So what did we do? We made the entire event FREE! And to this date, there’s still a free option to attend.
How is the FBA and your current SUCCEED! conference relevant to ACE Pros?
Simple. We know because of our market penetration (thousands of members, over 70 strategic relationships) what is happening in the industry right now that ACE Pros need to know about.
Trends come and go, but having direct access to the smartest, most successful speakers in the industry never gets old. We provide the platform for our members and SUCCEED! attendees to get access to this education all year round!
But we go one step further. At the FBA it’s all about a guided learning experience. Everyone learns differently and we make our education accessible to all members in a way that’s convenient and digestible to address the needs of the busy fitness professional.

With over 50 sessions + a technology and innovation showcase, 20+ booth virtual expo and 4 sessions going on every hour, there’s something for everyone. We couldn’t be more excited about the reception and having ACE on board to present three dynamic sessions on Friday, August 27 makes SUCCEED! even better.
Specifically, we’ll speak to studio/gym owners about what’s necessary to thrive in this new world, strategies for opening back up, marketing, generating referrals, social media, and sales.
